Saudi interior minister: National Day reflects unity and development

Interior Minister Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif said that Saudi National Day embodies the nation’s enduring unity and comprehensive development journey.

The minister extended congratulations to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to the Saudi people on the occasion of National Day.

In a statement marking the occasion, the minister emphasized that Saudi National Day is a significant event in which citizens proudly recall the unification led by King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, supported by his loyal men. He laid the foundations of a strong state based on the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet, with justice as its principle and the security and prosperity of its people as its goal.

The minister noted that, under the leadership of the King and Crown Prince, the Kingdom continues its comprehensive development journey, guided by an ambitious vision that invests in people, opens new horizons for achievement and innovation, and strengthens its regional and international standing.

He affirmed that, despite regional changes and challenges, Saudi Arabia has demonstrated its ability to safeguard its security, stability, and achievements, relying—after God’s guidance—on the wisdom of its leadership, the courage of its soldiers, and the awareness and unity of its people.

The minister praised the bravery of the nation’s soldiers in protecting the Kingdom and its resources, stressing that their efforts are a source of pride. He added that this occasion renews the values of loyalty and belonging, and underscores everyone’s responsibility to preserve national achievements and contribute to the nation’s progress and the leadership’s aspirations. He prayed for the continued safety, stability, and prosperity of the Kingdom, and for the return of this occasion with the nation achieving even greater advancement.
