Muslim World League condemns Iran-backed militia attacks on Saudi Arabia

The Muslim World League has strongly condemned the continued attacks by Iran-backed terrorist militias in Iraq against Saudi Arabia, including attempts to target oil facilities in the Eastern Province.

In a statement, Secretary-General and Chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, reiterated the League’s denunciation of these criminal and treacherous acts, which violate all religious values as well as international and humanitarian laws and norms.

On behalf of the League’s assemblies, bodies, and global councils, and all Muslim peoples under its umbrella, Al-Issa reaffirmed full solidarity with Saudi Arabia in all measures it takes to deter aggressors, safeguard its security and sovereignty, and protect its citizens and residents. He prayed for the Kingdom’s continued safety and security for its land, leadership, and people.
