Abha opens 'Marhaba Alf' bridge to ease traffic flow

Abha inaugurated the 'Marhaba Alf' bridge on Saturday as part of the Airport Cluster project, in a move designed to improve traffic flow and better serve both local residents and visitors.

The project was launched under the direction of Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Asir Region and Chairman of the Asir Development Authority, adding a new element to the region’s infrastructure and ongoing development projects, according to Al Ekhbariya.

The bridge’s name is inspired by a traditional Asir greeting, reflecting the region’s values of hospitality and warm welcome. The project is also expected to enhance connectivity between Abha International Airport, the city of Abha, and key tourist destinations.
