Saudi prisons continue education and training programs for inmates

The General Directorate of Prisons has continued its educational and training programs for male and female inmates in prisons across the Kingdom, coinciding with the start of the new academic year 1448 AH.

The directorate has enhanced educational and training facilities for inmates to enable them to pursue general and university education, and to benefit from technical and vocational training programs, in partnership with relevant authorities.

These efforts are part of the directorate’s ongoing role in supporting the educational and training paths of inmates, developing their knowledge and skills, and empowering them to acquire qualifications that improve their chances of reintegrating into society after serving their sentences.
