Saudi Arabia records two hours of dust storms on September 9

The Regional Center for Dust and Sandstorms reported that Saudi Arabia experienced two hours of dust storms on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.

In a statement on its X account, the center said a total of 17 hours of dust storms were recorded across the region.

According to the center, Iran saw eight hours of dust storms, while Jordan and Pakistan each recorded three hours, Saudi Arabia had two hours, and Egypt reported one hour. No dust storm activity was recorded in other countries in the region.
