Interior Minister Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef reviewed operations at the headquarters of the Facilities Security Forces in Riyadh.

During the visit, he inaugurated the Command and Control Center and the security drone systems, which include seven specialized units and are linked to 13 command and control centers across the forces’ branches in regions throughout the Kingdom.

The center operates through an integrated system of electronic platforms and technologies to receive reports, manage and monitor field operations, and exchange security information. It aims to enhance response speed and coordination efficiency, working in tandem with the National Center for Security Operations. The center utilizes drones equipped with artificial intelligence to support field surveillance and boost operational effectiveness within the forces’ areas of responsibility.

The minister also inaugurated the Cybersecurity Center, which is dedicated to protecting data and information, securing networks and devices, monitoring systems to detect and address vulnerabilities, and identifying and countering cyber threats. This supports the protection of technical infrastructure and business continuity.

He also launched services for Facilities Security Forces personnel through the “Absher Internal” application, developed in cooperation with the Unified Development Center for Technology Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, to streamline procedures and enable staff to access services electronically.

Abdulaziz bin Saud reviewed the suite of developed electronic services and systems, which include linking the “Mawared” system with the “Absher” platform and the National Single Sign-On platform, as well as integration with related systems through secure technical interfaces, all aimed at improving service efficiency and advancing digital transformation.

The visit and inaugurations were attended by Acting Deputy Minister of Interior Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Ayyaf, Assistant Minister for Operations Mohammed bin Muhanna Al-Muhanna, and Director General of the Minister’s Office for Studies and Research Major General Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Arowan.
