Ethiopian nationals arrested in Asir for smuggling khat

Border Guard ground patrols in the Raboua sector of Asir region have arrested two Ethiopian nationals for violating border security regulations and attempting to smuggle 40 kilograms of the narcotic plant khat.

According to the Border Guard, initial legal procedures have been completed against the suspects, and both they and the seized contraband have been handed over to the relevant authorities.

Security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking activities by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 999 and 994 in other regions of the Kingdom.
