Qassim Health Cluster and Friends of Patients sign agreement to support psychiatric patients

The Qassim Health Cluster and the Friends of Patients Association in Unaizah have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at supporting psychiatric patients who lack housing or cannot be returned to their families, in accordance with current regulations. The initiative seeks to enhance the care provided to these patients and support their social stability.

The agreement includes support for Irada and Mental Health Hospital in Qassim, efforts to boost charitable giving for this group, raising community awareness of the needs of psychiatric patients, providing moral support to beneficiaries, and developing accessible channels for community contributions.

Areas of cooperation

Areas of cooperation include promoting volunteer work, encouraging charitable organizations and entities to participate in related initiatives as resources allow, and utilizing the association's programs and projects to serve visitors to Irada and Mental Health Hospital in Qassim.

The agreement also aims to strengthen integration between the health and non-profit sectors and activate the role of community partnerships in supporting the most vulnerable groups, thereby contributing to improved quality of life.
