Traffic department launches online license plate auction Sunday via Absher

Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Traffic will launch its electronic license plate auction on Sunday via the Absher platform, giving those interested in purchasing special license plates the opportunity to participate and bid online.

The General Directorate of Traffic explained on its official X account that users can access the auction by logging into Absher, selecting "My Services," then "Traffic," and finally choosing the "Electronic License Plate Auction" service.

Once in the service, users must select the type of vehicle plates, after which the available plates for online bidding will be displayed.
