Three falcons sold for SAR 155,000 at international falcon farms auction

Three falcons were sold for a total of SAR 155,000 on the third night of the 2026 International Falcon Farms Auction, organized by the National Center for Falcons at its headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh. The event features leading falcon breeding farms from around the world and continues until August 25, attracting significant interest from falconers and visitors passionate about this heritage.

The evening began with the sale of the first falcon, a juvenile gyr-shaheen from a Spanish farm, which was purchased for SAR 42,000 by Nova Falcon. The second falcon, a juvenile shaheen from a Portuguese farm, was sold for SAR 32,000 to falconer Humaid Bargash Al-Mansouri.

The third falcon, a juvenile gyr-matlouth from a Canadian farm, opened bidding at SAR 20,000 and was ultimately sold for SAR 81,000 to Maqbil Abdulrahman Al-Shalawi.

The auction provides a trusted and unique platform for elite falcons from around the world, hosting a fast-paced, competitive live auction that brings together falconers and breeders from Saudi Arabia and abroad. The event is broadcast on television and streamed live on the center's social media accounts.
