Saudi crown prince, Pakistan PM discuss regional developments in phone call

Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman received a phone call on Tuesday from Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

At the start of the call, Prime Minister Sharif reiterated Pakistan’s condemnation of the Houthi militia attack on a Saudi vessel and the threat it poses to maritime navigation in the Red Sea, affirming Pakistan’s firm support for the Kingdom’s security and sovereignty.

The two leaders also reviewed the latest regional developments and discussed ongoing efforts to de-escalate tensions and promote security and stability in the region.
