Najran Municipality boosts quality of life with park upgrades

Najran Municipality continued its maintenance and care of parks and gardens throughout August, as part of ongoing plans to enhance the urban landscape and improve quality of life. The initiative aims to make recreational and tourist destinations more attractive and to raise the standard of services provided to residents and visitors.

In August, the work included maintaining 282,000 square meters of green spaces, pruning 14,300 trees and shrubs, and servicing 600 lighting poles. Maintenance was also carried out at five public squares and 23 walking paths.

The efforts further covered the upkeep of playgrounds and play areas spanning 640 square meters, maintenance of 36 public restrooms, as well as repairs to seven waterfalls and 41 fountains. These activities are part of regular maintenance to ensure the efficiency and readiness of public facilities.

Najran Municipality spokesperson Abdullah Al-Fadel stated that the municipality continues to implement fieldwork and maintenance programs for parks and public facilities. These efforts contribute to improving facility efficiency, enhancing quality of life, upgrading the urban environment, and providing a safe and attractive setting for residents and visitors.
