Citizen Account deposits SAR 3.1 billion for October beneficiaries

Saudi Arabia’s Citizen Account program on Sunday deposited 3.1 billion riyals (SAR) in support for October to beneficiaries whose applications were completed. The number of recipients meeting eligibility criteria in the 107th payment exceeded 9.9 million beneficiaries and dependents.

According to an official statement, Abdullah Al-Hajri, General Manager of Communications for the Citizen Account program, said the total amount paid to beneficiaries since the program’s launch has surpassed 293 billion riyals, including 2.9 billion riyals in compensation for previous payments.

Al-Hajri explained that 72% of beneficiaries received support in this payment, with the average support per household reaching 1,469 riyals.

He added that the number of household heads benefiting from the program in this payment exceeded 2 million, representing 84% of the total, while the number of dependents surpassed 7.5 million.
