King Salman Humanitarian Center delivers urgent aid to Marib fire victims

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center on Sunday delivered urgent humanitarian assistance to families affected by a fire that broke out at displacement camps in the Hawsh Al-Zira’ah area of Marib city district, Marib province.

The aid included tents, shelter kits, and food baskets, aiming to alleviate the suffering of families impacted by the fire, which was caused by an electrical short circuit.

The blaze destroyed 14 tents and burned bedding, blankets, clothing, furniture, as well as kitchen supplies and food stocks belonging to the displaced families.

The center stated that this assistance is part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts, through the center, to provide various forms of humanitarian support to the people of Yemen during crises.
