Saudi, Iraqi foreign ministers discuss regional developments in Amman

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan met today with Iraqi Foreign Minister Dr. Fuad Hussein on the sidelines of the ministerial meeting in support of Jerusalem and its holy sites, held in the Jordanian capital, Amman.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed recent regional developments and reaffirmed the strong ties between their countries. They stressed the importance of supporting all efforts that enhance Iraq's interests and its relations with Arab and Islamic states, ensuring that Iraqi territory and resources are not used as a platform for aggression against its neighbors, and contributing to development and stability for all countries and peoples of the region.
