Al-Nassr defeat Al-Taawoun 2-1 to top Saudi Pro League

Al-Nassr secured an important 2-1 victory over Al-Taawoun on Sunday at King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh, as part of the fourth round of the Saudi Pro League, known as the Roshn League.

Al-Taawoun took an early lead in the 11th minute through Bassam Al-Huraiji, but Al-Nassr equalized in first-half stoppage time, with Costa scoring in the 45+5th minute.

Early in the second half, Cristiano Ronaldo netted Al-Nassr’s second goal in the 50th minute, giving his team the lead, which they maintained until the final whistle.

With this win, Al-Nassr climbed to the top of the table with 12 points, while Al-Taawoun remain on two points in fifteenth place.
