Prince Mutab bin Mishaal bin Badr bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, deputy governor of Al-Jouf region, marked the beginning of the new school year on Monday with a visit to Al-Sudairiyah Primary School in Sakaka.

During the visit, he met with students, encouraging them to work hard and wishing them a successful and distinguished academic year.

The prince reviewed preparations by the Al-Jouf General Directorate of Education for the new term, praising the leadership’s commitment to the education sector and highlighting the governor’s dedication to supporting students and preparing them to contribute to the nation’s progress.

More than 176,000 students return to class

Mohammed bin Ali Al-Qahtani, director general of education in Al-Jouf, said that over 176,000 students have returned to 937 schools across all educational levels in the region.

Al-Qahtani added that the directorate has completed preparations by readying schools, providing teaching and administrative staff, distributing textbooks, and launching welcome and awareness programs for the start of the academic year.
