Three falcons fetch SAR 349,000 at International Auction Platform for Falcon Production Farms 2026 finale

The twelfth and final night of the International Auction Platform for Falcon Production Farms 2026 saw three falcons sold for a total of 349,000 riyals (SAR), drawing significant interest from falconers and visitors passionate about this cultural heritage.

The evening began with the sale of the first falcon, a young saker falcon from a Polish farm, which fetched 32,000 riyals. The second falcon, a young gyr-peregrine from a Romanian farm, was sold for 46,000 riyals. The night concluded with a young pure gyrfalcon from a Canadian farm, which opened bidding at 100,000 riyals and ultimately sold for 271,000 riyals.

Over 21 days, the auction provided a unique and trusted international platform for elite falcons from around the world, hosting a fast-paced, competitive event that brought together falconers and breeders from Saudi Arabia and abroad. The event was broadcast live on television and streamed on the National Center for Falcons' official channels.
