Madinah Development Authority opens registration for restaurant, café excellence program

The Madinah Development Authority has announced the launch of registration for the second edition of its 'Excellence Program for Restaurants and Cafés.' The initiative, led by the authority’s Destination Development Office, aims to highlight and support outstanding establishments in Madinah’s food and beverage sector.

The authority explained that the program targets restaurant owners, café proprietors, as well as managers and those responsible for operating such establishments in Madinah. The goal is to enhance the quality of services provided to visitors and customers.

Participants in the program will benefit from several advantages, including promotion through official platforms, formal classification and accreditation, inclusion in the list of distinguished establishments, visibility in guides and informational materials, coverage in media campaigns and publications, media exposure, recognition at the annual ceremony, and the annual Excellence Medal.

The authority encouraged all eligible establishments to take advantage of the opportunities and benefits offered by the program, noting that registration is open until August 31, 2026 via the designated online portal.
