Saudi Arabia signs privileges agreement for Expo 2030 Riyadh participants

Saudi Arabia and the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) have signed the "Privileges and Benefits Agreement" (SEE Agreement) in Paris, aimed at strengthening the legal and administrative framework for the participation of countries and international organizations in Expo 2030 Riyadh.

The signing ceremony took place during the visit of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Prime Minister, to France. The agreement was signed by Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and BIE Secretary General Dimitri Kerkentzes, in the presence of Expo 2030 Riyadh CEO Eng. Talal Al-Mirri.

Comprehensive regulatory framework for participants

The agreement sets out the legal and administrative foundations for the participation of countries and international organizations in Expo 2030 Riyadh, providing a clear framework to support their preparations across all stages of design, construction, and operation.
