Civil Affairs details steps for obtaining digital death certificates via Absher

The Civil Affairs Agency at the Ministry of Interior now offers an online service for issuing death certificates through the Absher platform, streamlining the process for citizens and residents to register deaths without visiting Civil Affairs offices.

According to a post on its X account, Civil Affairs explained that the service enables users to electronically register the death of a family member, parent, or domestic worker, once the hospital has reported the death online.

To access the service, users should log in to their Absher account, select "My Services," then "Civil Affairs," and proceed to the death certificate services section to complete the required steps.
