Saudi passports authority launches online iqama renewal for businesses via Absher

The General Directorate of Passports has announced the launch of an online service enabling business owners to renew residency permits (iqamas) for expatriate employees via the Ministry of Interior’s Absher Business electronic platform.

The authority explained that the service allows business owners to renew iqamas electronically without the need to visit passport offices, helping to streamline procedures and speed up transaction processing.

To use the service, business owners must log in to the Absher Business platform, select "My Business Services," and then choose the "Renew Residency Permit" option to complete the required steps.
