Medina governor attends region’s Saudi National Day celebration

Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Medina Region, attended a ceremony organized by the regional municipality to mark Saudi National Day at the King Salman International Conference Center. The event was attended by the region’s mayor, Engineer Fahd bin Mohammed Al-Buleihi, along with several officials and local residents.

The ceremony began with the national anthem, followed by a recitation from the Holy Qur’an. A patriotic poem was then delivered, recalling the legacy of King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud in unifying the Kingdom and highlighting the enduring significance of National Day for generations.

Attendees then watched a video presentation titled “My Homeland, My Identity.” This was followed by a classical Arabic poem, “A Place of Eminence,” celebrating Medina’s status and evoking the symbolism of the national flag.

The program continued with a performance of the traditional “Majass Madini” segment, followed by a Nabati poem, and another video presentation about the homeland.

The celebration featured the operetta “Our Glorious Kingdom” in three artistic scenes, and concluded with the Saudi Ardah, a traditional dance expressing pride in the Kingdom’s history, heritage, and the spirit of national belonging on this special occasion.
