Border Guard in Jazan arrests five Yemenis for smuggling 70 kg of khat

Saudi Border Guard land patrols in the Al-Ardah sector of Jazan region have arrested five Yemeni nationals for violating border security regulations by attempting to smuggle 70 kilograms of the narcotic plant khat.

Initial legal procedures were completed against the suspects, and both they and the seized contraband were handed over to the competent authorities.

Security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking activities by calling 911 in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, 999 in other regions, the General Directorate of Narcotics Control hotline at 995, or by emailing [email protected]. All reports will be treated with strict confidentiality.
