Al-Baha Municipality ramps up readiness for rainy season with 39 support sites

Mohammed Al-Najem, supervisor of the General Department of Emergency and Crisis Management at Al-Baha Municipality, said the municipality, in cooperation with relevant authorities, has developed plans to enhance readiness for the rainy season through more than 39 support sites.

Speaking in an interview with Al-Ekhbariya TV, he added that the annual rainy season plan is based on several criteria and involves the participation of various entities, both within Al-Baha Municipality and its affiliated municipalities, as well as external agencies.

Al-Baha Municipality had earlier announced it was increasing field preparedness to address rainfall and potential flooding in the region.
