Three Yemenis arrested in Jazan for smuggling 82 kg of qat

Border Guard land patrols in the Al-Harth sector of Jazan region have arrested three Yemeni nationals for violating border security regulations by attempting to smuggle 82 kilograms of the narcotic plant qat.

According to a statement on the Border Guard’s official X account, initial legal procedures have been completed against the suspects, and both the detainees and the seized drugs have been handed over to the competent authorities.

Security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking activities by calling 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern Province, or 999 and 994 in other regions.
