Four Ethiopians arrested for smuggling 54 kg of khat in Asir

Border Guard land patrols in the Raboua sector of Asir region have arrested four Ethiopian nationals for violating border security regulations while attempting to smuggle 54 kilograms of the narcotic plant khat.

Initial legal procedures have been completed against the detainees, and both the individuals and the seized contraband have been handed over to the competent authorities.

Security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking activities by calling 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 999 and 994 in other regions of the Kingdom.
