Absher launches online first name change service for citizens

The Absher platform has introduced a service allowing Saudi citizens and their children under 18 to change their first names electronically, without the need to visit Civil Affairs offices.

Absher explained on X that users can access the service by logging into the Absher platform, selecting Civil Affairs services from the "My Services" menu, then choosing "Name Field Modification Services," and finally selecting the "Change First Name" option.
