Real estate registration for 36,000 properties in Eastern Province and Hail begins Sunday

Real estate title registration for 36,000 properties in Eastern Province and Hail will begin on Sunday and continue until the end of December, with fines imposed on owners who do not register.

The General Real Estate Authority announced the launch of title registration for 36,090 properties: 30,838 in Eastern Province and 5,252 in Hail. Registration opens Sunday, September 27, and runs until Thursday, December 31, 2026.

In Eastern Province, the neighborhoods benefiting in this phase in Al-Mulijah governorate include: Al-Khalidiyah, Al-Falah, Al-Sinaiyah, Al-Nakheel, Al-Shifa, Al-Mustashfa, Naif, Al-Izdihar, and several other areas. In Al-Qulaib, registration starts in Al-Naseem and other locations.

In Al-Qaisumah, registration begins in Ahwash Al-Aghnam and other areas, while in Hafar Al-Batin, it covers Hijrat Al-Sulaymaniyah, Al-Sufairi, and additional neighborhoods. In Al-Dhubaibah, registration includes Al-Yasmeen, Al-Wurud, Al-Falah, Al-Nakheel, part of Al-Nada, and other areas.

Registration will also be available in several areas in the following governorates: Dammam, Dhahran, Buqayq, and Khafji. In Hail, the neighborhoods benefiting in Baqaa include part of Al-Nakheel and Al-Andalus, as well as other areas. Registration will also start in several areas in the governorates of Fayd and Al-Ajfar. The authority noted that neighborhoods were selected based on specific criteria, and more areas and governorates will be announced for registration in the coming periods across the Kingdom.

Initial registration for properties in these areas and neighborhoods will be available through the Real Estate Registry platform at https://rer.sa or at service centers. Title registration requires a valid ownership deed that meets legal requirements.

The authority urged property owners in the designated areas to verify their ownership deeds and ensure all requirements are met ahead of registration. Inquiries about the registration process can be made through the authority's official platforms or by calling the customer service center at 199002.

From the start date, each registered property will be assigned a unique property number and a title deed, which will include the property's details, description, status, and associated rights and obligations, linked to precise geospatial information. This aims to strengthen infrastructure and ensure the sustainability of the real estate sector. The title registration system is designed to increase trust and transparency in the real estate market.
