Five arrested in Jazan for smuggling 100 kg of khat

Border Guard land patrols in Al-Dayer sector, Jazan region, have arrested five violators of border security regulations—of Ethiopian and Yemeni nationalities—for attempting to smuggle 100 kilograms of khat.

Initial legal procedures have been completed, and both the suspects and the seized drugs have been handed over to the relevant authorities.

Security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking by calling 911 in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, 999 in other regions, or the General Directorate of Narcotics Control hotline at 995.
