Heatwave expected to hit parts of Riyadh region on Tuesday

The National Center for Meteorology has warned that parts of the Riyadh region will be affected by a heatwave on Tuesday, with temperatures expected to range between 47 and 48 degrees Celsius.

The alert covers the city of Riyadh and the governorates of Diriyah, Thadiq, Huraymila, Rumah, Durma, Marat, Al-Hariq, Al-Kharj, Al-Dilam, Hotat Bani Tamim, Al-Muzahimiyah, Al-Dawadmi, Al-Rayn, Al-Quwaiiyah, Afif, Al-Aflaj, and Al-Sulail.

The center stated that the heatwave will begin at 9 a.m. and continue until 7 p.m.
