Qassim Municipality conducts over 32,000 inspections in H1 2026

Qassim Municipality, represented by the Unaizah Municipality, conducted more than 32,000 inspection visits and issued around 6,000 commercial and health permits as part of the General Directorate of Environmental Health’s activities during the first half of 2026.

According to the municipality’s semi-annual report, inspection teams carried out 18,546 health-related visits and 13,645 commercial inspections of establishments and shops to ensure compliance with municipal regulations. During the same period, the municipality issued 3,750 commercial permits and 2,219 health permits.

Engineer Fares bin Mohammed Al-Qahtani, Mayor of Unaizah, said the ongoing inspection efforts aim to raise compliance levels and provide a healthy, safe environment for all. He noted that the growth and investment expansion in the governorate reflect the vibrant economic activity and the investment appeal of Unaizah.
