Saudi, Egyptian foreign ministers discuss regional developments by phone

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan held a phone call with his Egyptian counterpart, Dr. Badr Abdelatty, to discuss the latest regional developments.

According to a statement from Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ministry spokesperson Ambassador Nader Zaki said the call addressed the evolving regional situation, efforts to contain the current crisis and prevent further escalation, and the importance of advancing political and peaceful solutions through dialogue.

The two ministers agreed to continue close consultation and coordination both bilaterally and within the framework of the four-party ministerial mechanism, which also includes Turkey and Pakistan.
