Taibah University receives accreditation for diverse academic programs

Taibah University has received accreditation from the Education and Training Evaluation Commission for a number of its undergraduate and master's degree programs at its main campus in Madinah and its branch in Yanbu.

The university stated that this accreditation is part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of its academic offerings, improve educational outcomes, and achieve the objectives of its overall strategy.

Details of accredited programs

At the undergraduate level, the accreditations include the electrical engineering and mechanical engineering programs at the Yanbu branch. Additionally, Bachelor of Science programs in business administration—covering management, finance, accounting, management information systems, and marketing—were accredited at both the main and Yanbu campuses. The main campus also saw accreditation for programs in visual arts, graphic design, interior design, and prosthetics and assistive devices.

For master's degrees, the accredited programs at the main campus include educational policy, educational administration and leadership, educational psychological counseling, educational technology, economics and planning of education, and educational measurement and evaluation.

Accreditation duration and objectives

The accreditation periods range from two to five years, with some programs accredited until 2028 and others through 2031. The aim is to support the university's efforts to develop its academic programs in line with quality and academic accreditation standards, and to enhance the effectiveness of its educational outcomes.
