Pakistan’s prime minister congratulates Saudi leadership, people on National Day

The Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, has extended his congratulations to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Saudi people on the occasion of Saudi National Day.

Sharif stated that the Kingdom’s journey of progress and transformation is a source of pride and admiration not only for the Saudi people but also for Pakistan. He praised the remarkable steps Saudi Arabia has taken toward prosperity, modernization, and innovation under the leadership and vision of the Crown Prince.

The Pakistani prime minister added that Pakistan values its historic and solid brotherly relations with Saudi Arabia, which are based on faith, mutual trust, and the strong bonds between the two nations’ peoples.

Sharif affirmed that, under the Crown Prince’s guidance, this brotherhood is evolving into a stronger strategic partnership rooted in a shared commitment to peace, security, and the unity of the Islamic nation.

Defense agreements between the two countries

Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the signing of the Joint Strategic Defense Agreement and the Makkah Joint Defense Agreement between the two countries, reflecting the depth of defense and strategic cooperation between Riyadh and Islamabad.
