Saudi Islamic Affairs Ministry concludes training for 100 preachers and imams in Indonesia

With the participation of around 100 preachers, female preachers, imams, and Friday prayer leaders, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance—represented by the religious attaché at the Saudi Embassy in Indonesia—has concluded an intensive religious training course in Bogor, West Java province.

In an official statement on its X platform account, the ministry said the three-day course covered the book "The Methodology of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah," explaining its approach to creed, the importance of adhering to the Qur’an and Sunnah, and the impact of sound belief on a Muslim’s integrity and actions.

The ministry added that this course is part of its international educational and outreach programs to train preachers, imams, and Friday prayer leaders, promote Islamic scholarship, and reinforce the values of moderation and balance.
