Three Yemenis arrested with 150 kg of khat in Jazan

Border Guard ground patrols in the Al-Ardah sector of Jazan region have arrested three Yemeni nationals for violating border security regulations after they were caught attempting to smuggle 150 kilograms of the narcotic plant khat.

Security authorities stated that initial legal procedures were completed for those arrested, and they, along with the seized contraband, were handed over to the relevant authorities for further action.

Authorities urged citizens and residents to report any information regarding drug smuggling or trafficking activities, assuring that all reports will be treated with strict confidentiality.
