Islamic University of Madinah opens remote Sharia bachelor’s applications

The Islamic University of Madinah has announced the opening of applications for its remote Bachelor of Sharia program, offering free scholarships to eligible international male and female students for the 1448 academic year, in partnership with the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Endowment for His Parents.

In a statement on its X platform account, the university said the program aims to provide the opportunity to study Islamic Sharia remotely in accordance with the approved curriculum, utilizing the latest e-learning technologies to help spread Islamic knowledge and empower students from around the world.

The university clarified that the program grants an accredited bachelor’s degree from the Islamic University upon completion of academic requirements and passing a comprehensive in-person exam. The program allows students to study remotely from anywhere in the world, with free scholarships provided by the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Endowment for His Parents.

The university added that applications will be accepted until August 8, 2026, urging interested candidates to apply within the specified period and complete all admission requirements.
