These pillars aim to strengthen national efforts and create a supportive environment for rights holders, creators, and enterprises.
She added that the policy seeks to maximize the developmental and economic impact of intellectual property, supporting the integration of its fields and regulations into general, university, technical, and vocational education. This will raise awareness, foster creativity and entrepreneurship, and instill the notion that developing intellectual property is part of the national identity.
Al-Azzaz also affirmed that the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property will continue, in cooperation with public, private, non-profit sectors, and individuals, to work towards achieving the policy’s objectives and directions and deepening the impact of intellectual property.
