The Ministry of Interior stressed that anyone who facilitates the entry of border security violators into the Kingdom, transports them within the country, provides them shelter, or offers any assistance or service in any form, will face penalties of up to 15 years in prison, fines of up to 1 million riyals (SAR), confiscation of the means of transport and accommodation used, and public naming.
The ministry clarified that this crime is considered a major offense requiring detention and is deemed dishonorable and a breach of trust. It urged the public to report any violations by calling 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 999 and 996 in other regions of the Kingdom.
