Saudia unveiled its new premium economy seats during its participation at the World Travel Market in London 2026, reflecting the airline’s continued investment in enhancing onboard products and services, and expanding travel options for guests as part of its “New Saudi Experience” initiatives.

The premium economy class offers a new option between economy and business, combining extra comfort and space. Features include a seat pitch of up to 43 inches, a 15.5-inch entertainment screen, an extendable leg rest, and a design that enhances privacy and provides additional storage for personal belongings.

The new premium economy class is expected to debut on Boeing 787 aircraft joining Saudia’s fleet in 2027, and will also be introduced on selected existing Airbus A330, Boeing 777, and Boeing 787 aircraft as part of a phased cabin upgrade program.

Arved Muhle, Executive Vice President of Commercial at Saudia, said: “We are working to enhance the travel experience to meet our guests’ expectations and diverse needs. The introduction of premium economy is a significant addition to our travel options, offering higher levels of comfort and privacy. Showcasing these seats is part of our ongoing investment in product upgrades and cabin renewal, and the World Travel Market in London is an important platform to introduce our international partners to these developments and the added value they bring to our guests.”

In addition to unveiling the premium economy class, Saudia showcased its business class seats on the Airbus A321XLR, which joined the fleet this year, making Saudia the first airline in the Middle East and Africa to operate this model. The aircraft features 24 business class suites with fully flat beds and direct aisle access, as well as 120 economy class seats. Saudia also presented a range of new hospitality products, including travel amenity kits and meal service items, reflecting its commitment to enhancing all aspects of the guest experience.
