Qassim education authority prepares to welcome 311,000 students across 2,452 schools

The General Directorate of Education in Qassim has completed its preparations for the 1448–1449 academic year, finalizing readiness at around 2,452 schools. Nearly 36,300 teachers, administrators, and staff will carry out their educational and professional duties, serving approximately 311,000 students. Over 1.8 million textbooks and educational materials have been distributed, ensuring that schools in the region are fully equipped for the new year, having met all educational, administrative, and technical requirements.

Mohammed Al-Furaih, Director General of Education in the region, stated that these preparations are the result of coordinated efforts and ongoing work across all sectors of the administration and field operations. He highlighted the comprehensive support provided by the Ministry of Education, which has enabled higher levels of readiness and the achievement of academic goals, as well as its commitment to supporting and enhancing the factors necessary for a successful school year.
