Border guards foil attempt to smuggle 37 kg of hashish in Asir

Saudi border patrols in the Dhahran Al-Janoub sector of Asir have thwarted an attempt to smuggle 37 kilograms of hashish in the region.

According to a statement on the Border Guard's official X account, initial legal procedures have been completed and the seized drugs have been handed over to the relevant authorities.

Security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, 999 or 994 in other regions, or the General Directorate of Narcotics Control hotline at 995. Reports can also be sent via email to [email protected]. All reports will be handled with strict confidentiality and without liability for the informant.
