Senior scholar: Digital Quran translations reflect Saudi leadership’s commitment to spreading Islam

Sheikh Dr. Jibril Al-Busaili, a member of the Council of Senior Scholars, praised the King Fahd Complex for making more than 44 digital translations of the meanings of the Quran available on its website.

Speaking in a phone interview with Al-Ikhbariya Radio, Al-Busaili said that providing these translations demonstrates the leadership’s commitment to spreading the message of Islam and its tolerant values to both Muslims and non-Muslims around the world.

He added that making these multiple translations available in major world languages is part of the broader effort to print and distribute the Holy Quran and its translations globally, allowing people everywhere—Muslims and non-Muslims alike—to learn about the noble principles, virtues, and ethics of Islamic law.

It is worth noting that the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran has made more than 44 digital translations of the meanings of the Quran available in various world languages through its website, as part of its ongoing efforts to utilize modern technology in the service of the Quran and to make its meanings accessible worldwide.

The available translations cover a range of Asian, European, and African languages. They have been prepared and reviewed according to rigorous scholarly standards by a team of specialists, ensuring accuracy and reliability, and enabling non-Arabic speakers to access the meanings of the Quran through a modern, user-friendly digital platform.
