Taif Municipality steps up school area clean-up ahead of new academic year

Taif Municipality has ramped up field operations around schools and educational facilities in preparation for the new academic year, covering five local municipal districts. These measures aim to boost readiness and provide a clean, safe urban environment for students and education staff.

Municipal officials said the Operations and Maintenance Agency and the General Department of Sanitation are carrying out a range of field tasks, including enhanced cleaning, waste removal, and addressing issues in areas and walkways surrounding schools, as well as maintaining the urban landscape.

They noted that the readiness of roads and areas linked to educational facilities is being closely monitored in coordination with the General Directorate of Education in Taif and other relevant bodies, to ensure swift resolution of issues and a high level of preparedness for the start of the school year.

Meanwhile, the municipality continues its field efforts in targeted locations across the five sub-municipalities, aiming to improve the urban environment and enhance service quality around schools and educational facilities.
