Saudi Arabia records eight hours of dust storms on Friday

The Regional Center for Dust Storms reported eight hours of dust storms in Saudi Arabia on Friday, August 7, 2026.

In a statement posted on its X account, the center said a total of 46 hours of dust storms were recorded across the region on August 7, 2026.

According to the center, Iran experienced 16 hours, the UAE 13 hours, Jordan 9 hours, and Saudi Arabia 8 hours of dust storms, while no dust storm hours were recorded in other regional countries.
