Civil Defense urges public to report smoke and emergencies via hotlines

The General Directorate of Civil Defense has called on citizens and residents to promptly report any sightings of smoke or emergency situations.

In a statement on X, the authority said reports can be made by calling the unified emergency number 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 998 in other parts of the Kingdom.

The Civil Defense emphasized that all reports are handled with strict confidentiality and that informants bear no legal responsibility.
