UK minister praises Saudi model for education quality assurance

UK Minister for Skills Jackie Smith has praised the Saudi model for ensuring and monitoring the quality of education and training.

In an interview with Al Ekhbariya TV, Smith said, “What I have seen in the use of data to measure educational success and drive improvement is truly impressive.”

She noted that data is used not only to assess success across various aspects of the education system, but also to guide efforts for improvement. Smith added that both the UK and Saudi Arabia share a belief in the importance of guaranteeing the quality of education provided.

Smith emphasized that quality assurance is crucial, highlighting the ability to monitor and analyze the quality of education in schools and higher education institutions with a high level of accuracy as one of the most notable aspects she observed.
