50,000 Saudi flags adorn Jazan streets for National Day celebrations

Jazan Municipality and its affiliated local councils have decorated the region’s roads, squares, and streets with 50,000 Saudi flags in celebration of Saudi National Day. The initiative is part of preparations to highlight the significance of the national occasion and to ready public spaces and main roads, reflecting pride and appreciation for this cherished event.

The flags have been distributed along major roads, intersections, public squares, and municipal facilities across Jazan city as well as the region’s governorates and centers. The display, led by the Saudi flag, has turned the area green, symbolizing the flag’s importance and deep national meaning, and expressing joy and pride in the nation, its leadership, and achievements.

Jazan Municipality spokesperson Dr. Ibrahim Al-Khayyat said that installing 50,000 flags is part of the municipality’s plan for National Day, which includes decorating roads, squares, and public areas, as well as preparing venues for celebrations and events to welcome residents and visitors.

He added that field teams have prepared various sites and distributed decorations and national identity elements across several roads and squares, giving the urban landscape a patriotic atmosphere and highlighting the celebration of a day that commemorates the nation’s journey of unification, development, and growth.

The celebrations in Jazan reflect the sense of belonging and loyalty embodied by Saudi National Day and the Kingdom’s comprehensive development under Vision 2030. The Saudi flag remains a symbol of pride, unity, and sovereignty, representing a nation moving confidently toward a more prosperous future.
