Madinah Health Cluster wins two awards at 2026 Health Performance Awards

Minister of Health Fahd Al-Jalajel honored the Madinah Health Cluster after it won two prizes at the eighth edition of the 2026 Health Performance Awards, during a ceremony held in Riyadh.

The cluster, represented by the main hospital at King Salman Medical City, secured first place in the acute stroke management category. King Fahd Hospital claimed second place in the trauma and accident care category, reflecting the efficiency of critical care pathways and the integration of services for urgent cases.

The Madinah Health Cluster stated that this achievement builds on its ongoing efforts to develop critical care pathways, enhance emergency response capabilities, and implement best medical practices and protocols to enable rapid intervention and improve health outcomes for beneficiaries.

It added that the accomplishment is the result of the combined efforts of medical, technical, and administrative staff, as well as strengthened coordination between healthcare facilities and specialties, supporting the delivery of comprehensive and safe care for critical cases.

Winning the two awards highlights the progress in the quality and efficiency of specialized healthcare services in the Madinah region, the enhancement of care pathways that help save lives, reduce complications, and improve beneficiaries' quality of life.
